E-CITIZEN
You can now conveniently make payments for all your E-citizen government payments such as renewing licenses, paying taxes, or accessing public records, via I&M Bank.
1. Access the e-Citizen Portal:
- Open your web browser and go to the official e-Citizen portal (https://www.ecitizen.go.ke).
2. Log In or Register:
- If you already have an account, log in with your username and password.
- If you do not have an account, register by providing the required details, such as your national ID number, email address, and phone number.
3. Navigate to the Service:
- Once logged in, browse through the available services. These might include services like passport application, business registration, vehicle registration, or utility payments.
- Select the service you need.
4. Fill in the Required Information:
- Complete any forms or provide the necessary details for the service you are paying for.
5. Review the Payment Details:
- Confirm the amount to be paid and any other relevant details.
6. Choose a Payment Method:
- I&M Bank transfer
7. Make the Payment:
- You can proceed to make payment either at the branch or via OTG (personal or
business.)
8. Receive Confirmation:
- After the payment is successful, you should receive a confirmation message and /or
receipt on the portal and via email or SMS. - Keep this confirmation for your records.
9. Complete the Process:
- Depending on the service, you might need to wait for further instructions or
confirmation that your application or request has been processed.
