Mr. L. A. Sivaramakrishnan is an experienced banking professional with over four decades of experience across India and East Africa. He has been with I&M Group since 2003 and currently serves as a Senior Director, Group Business Development, where he is responsible for driving business growth and strategic development across the Group. He has previously held senior leadership roles within the Bank, including General Manager – Corporate Banking and Divisional Head – Business Development, and is a member of key management committees at both Bank and Group level. He serves on the boards of various entities within the I&M Group, including I&M Capital Limited, I&M Bancassurance Intermediary Limited and I&M Bank Uganda, and has previously served as a director of Bank One Limited, Mauritius. Mr. Sivaramakrishnan holds a postgraduate degree in Agriculture with specialisation in Horticulture and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).

Ms. Gupta holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a certified International M&A expert accredited by the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA). Bringing nearly 30 years of extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector, her expertise spans Credit, Risk Management, Finance, Product Development, Strategic Planning, Corporate Governance, and Sustainability. Currently Group Director – Corporate Advisory & Sustainability at I&M Bank Group, she leads key strategic initiatives, including regional expansion and investor relations. Ms. Gupta also serves as a Non-Executive Director on several Group boards, including I&M Burbidge Capital Limited, and Giro SEZ Limited.

Ms. Gacharia is an accomplished governance professional with extensive experience in company secretarial practice, regulatory compliance, legal and board advisory across the financial services sector. She serves as Company Secretary within the I&M Group including I&M Capital Limited. Prior to joining I&M Group, she was the Head, Legal & Statutory Compliance in Equity Bank and the Deputy Company Secretary, Legal Counsel & Ag. Company Secretary before that at the then Barclays Bank of Kenya (now Absa Bank Kenya). Ms. Gacharia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Leicester, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from University of Nairobi. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Public Secretary CPS (K), a Certified Governance Auditor and a member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries and the Law Society of Kenya.

Mr. Peter Anderson is a seasoned investment professional with over two decades of experience in asset management and financial markets in East Africa. He previously held senior roles within the Old Mutual Group, including Group Managing Director – Asset Management at UAP Old Mutual, where he provided strategic leadership across the firm’s regional investment operations, and earlier served as Chief Investment Officer and General Manager – Asset Management. Mr. Anderson is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and holds a Diploma from the Securities Institute Diploma (UK), Securities Institute Registered Persons Examination (UK) and a BA (Hons) Economics Studies & MA Development Economics, from University of Leeds, England.

Mr. Arun S. Mathur is a highly experienced banking professional with over five decades of leadership experience across India, the Middle East, and East Africa. He joined I&M Bank in 2000 as Deputy Chief Executive and served as Chief Executive Officer from 2002 to 2016, during which period he played a pivotal role in the Bank’s growth and regional expansion. He began his career with the State Bank of India in 1976 and subsequently held senior roles at ANZ Grindlays Bank, Commercial Bank of Africa and Diamond Trust Bank before joining I&M Bank. Mr. Mathur has also served on the boards of several entities including I&M Group entities and currently serves on the boards of I&M Burbidge Capital, I&M Capital Limited and I&M Realty Limited including its subsidiary in Tanzania. Mr. Mathur holds a Bachelors of Tech in Metallurgical Engineering and a Diploma in Statistical Methods from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India and undertook the Executive Program, Risk Management in Banking, INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
