What we offer
- Foreign Currency Spot Deals: This enables you to exchange one currency for another at a negotiated and agreed upon exchange rate for settlement in a maximum of two days' time. There is no minimum or maximum size and you don’t have to hold an I&M Bank account to benefit.
- Foreign Currency Forwards: This enables you to reduce business risk or uncertainty by buying or selling foreign currency up to 180 days in the future at a pre-negotiated rate. This product is available in all major currencies worldwide.
- Foreign Currency Swaps: This enables you to swap one currency for another at an exchange rate agreed upon at the start of the swap period. The product is available in all major currencies worldwide and the swap period may range from 1 to 6 months.
- Fixed Deposits: We offer the most competitive rates in the market for fixed deposits for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and even longer. Find attached the rates
- Treasury Bills & Bonds: Treasury bills are short-term securities (3-month, 6-month, and 12-month maturities) issued by the Bank of Uganda. Treasury bonds are longer-term securities and pay a specified interest every 6 months during the lifetime of the bond and the face value of the bond upon maturity. One must have a CDS account with the Bank of Uganda to transact.
